May 14-17, 2009: Æthelmearc War Practice
Canton of Steltonwald (Slippery Rock, PA).
"It is the will of Their Majesties that the Sylvan Bard competition be held at War Practice... There is no fixed theme, but topics suitable for the season -- spring, fighting, love and the like -- are encouraged. Her Majesty has invited the bards to perform their final round at the revel which is to be held in the royal encampment in the evening."
